  Many people choose what kind of business they want to operate based on opportunity. Maybe a friend comes to them with a proposal that seems like a cant miss opportunity. Some inherit a business from relatives and sometimes people just think they can do something better than the other guy. But if you want to be able to survive over the long haul of owning and operating a business it helps to love what you do.

We hear all the time about how people should choose jobs based on things they like to do but often as an entrepreneur this is not the case. We get stuck operating businesses in fields we do not actually like. If you dont really like what you do then how can you expect to be able to put in the effort required to make that business a success. How are you going to drag yourself out of bed each day to go do something you may not like doing. The overall effort required to make a business work is tremendous. And you cant give a half hearted effort

  Network marketing is not the perfect business that will fit every business persons personality or interests. Its also not always 100% fail-safe. The Expectations Are Unachievable

People who want to get rich quick should play the lottery or go into the jewelry business. They should not focus their efforts on network marketing. True, the network marketing business can be very rewarding but a get-rich-quick scheme it is not.

Anyone going into network marketing must be ready to put in some effort to grow it. It wont grow on its own. Network marketing is just not a business for the lazy. People fail in network marketing because they dont see it as a business they have to work on. They also have expectations that are too unrealistic even for the more experienced to attain.
